If only you knew with your heart, and not your mind where you can just shrug things off without a second’s notice. If only you knew how much it annoys me, torments me that this guy you’ve only known for about 2 weeks has more of your attention. You barely know him. You’re in love in his physical appearance. His height, his eyes, his ethnicity. You think he’s funny and kind. Blah blah blah… I’ve been working my ass trying to win you. I’ve been trying my best though we live so far apart from each other. You know my feelings. You know my personality. You know I’m probably one of the kindest people you’ve met. Yet you liking him more.. It royally pisses me off. And you know this.
Do you even know what you are to me? A “marriage candidate”? Sure. I might have said that to outshine Shane in sweetness. But it’s pretty much true. You know why? Because you understand me. You understand my ideals in everything. You are what I’ve been looking for as a future significant other.
All this? You may know. But you are also much more important to me because you are the only reason why I could finish my first year of college in such a good mood. You saved me back in February when I was broken down. Emotionally dead. You continued to talk to me though we had only started catching up a little before then.
Fuck. I don’t even know how I got off track.. But if only you knew how strongly this innocent 19 year old guy yearns for you. Then maybe. Maybe you wouldn’t be swayed by him. Maybe, you’ll like me just as much as I like you.
